So you go on a “business” trip….”hook up”… and a lamp falls on your head during the “hook up”.
Instead of writing it off to karma or a sign, you decide to sue your employer for workmans compensation benefits.
My opinion here is that this should not be covered by workmans compensation insurance. When you are sent on business you are expected to do business stuff. Unless you are in the most ancient of occupations I don’t believe performing sexual activities is in anyone’s job description.
If she needs help with medical bills I think going to back to the hotel owner’s insurance is the more likely choice. A lamp fell of the wall in their hotel causing injury. It’s still frivilous, but closer to the source than the employer.
